Hemplucid Review

Hemplucid is a highly trustworthy CBD brand that uses innovative technology and exudes ardent transparency. In fact, we consider their transparency innovative in and of itself. Engaging in charitable endeavors like donating to nonprofits or providing veterans discounts would put them at a five-star rating. (And psst… Ditch the polysorbates!)

Koi CBD Review

Koi asserts they believe in helping people. And we really believe them! We see these sorts of statements all the time in the CBD world, but Koi is doing all the right things to help people benefit from CBD oil’s amazing health advantages. First off, their sourcing and extraction methods are clean and sustainable. Second, they publish up-to-date lab tests for safety and purity. Finally, Koi gives military personnel and veterans 25% off for life. We applaud their wholehearted and successful efforts at providing “pure, powerful CBD to help you live a happy, healthy life.”

Rosette Wellness Review

After years of battling a life-threatening autoimmune disease, founder Harry moved his family to a farm to grow his own cannabis and replace his prescriptions. Decades of research and experimentation resulted in Rosette Wellness, his vehicle to share cannabinoid therapy with the masses. For now, one must reside in California to try these Emerald Cup-winning products, including CBD tinctures with different THC ratios. But we like what we see. If Rosette publishes CoAs proving their laboratory testing, they might just find a top spot on our list.

Kiva Confections Review

Anyone who’s visited a medical cannabis dispensary in California has come across Kiva’s artisan cannabis-infused chocolate bars. They’ve garnered multiple awards for their attention to detail and quality control, and rightly so. This dedication at each step of the process is what differentiates a good vendor from a great one. The only nuance is the lack of published Certificates of Analysis, but these are available upon request (as they do perform extensive tests). As such, Kiva is really more of a 3.5 as opposed to a 3.

Hempotion Review

Hempotion is yet another example of an outwardly unscrupulous CBD vendor. Whether it’s information on source material, innovative products, a bold and uplifting mission statement, laboratory test results, or charitable intentions that one seeks, disappointment is sure to fill the hearts of any would-be visitors to Hempotion’s site.

Holy Grail CBD Review

Cleanse. Nourish. Revive. These are the health-boosting aims of Holy Grail CBD, a company committed to science and sourcing that targets the energy, beauty, and wellness sectors within the industry. For the most part, they are on top of their testing and post independent results for most of their SKUs. Holy Grail CBD produces their own lines and sells other brands on their website as well. The majority of their offerings are quality, but we are a bit confused as to their methodology when it comes to selling brands that compete directly with specific products.

Therabis Review

There is an abundant amount of anecdotal evidence that alludes to the fact that Dr. Stephen Katz of Therabis offers strong and highly effective CBD oil products for animals. With decades of experience as a veterinarian and 10 years of research and development, Dr. Katz’s credentials speak for themselves. However, they owe it to themselves to publish documentation to verify the safety and quality of their pet-formulated CBD products to really put them over the top.

Organabus Review

Organabus’s fun logo looks like an old school hippie wagon with the requisite cannabis leaf; they give the immediate impression of a company dedicated to good vibes. But they’re going to have to do better than old-fashioned good vibes to get our approval. Our main issue with Organabus is the ‘organic’ claims that don’t match their ingredients, and we have a couple more axes to grind with this CBD oil vendor that needs some work.

CBD Infusions Review

Rebuild your endocannabinoid system today! CBD Infusions wants us all to benefit from the positive health effects of CBD oil. Although we certainly echo that sentiment, we need some clarification and more information to rank this company higher. We aren’t sure where exactly their hemp is sourced, and there needs to be published independent test results for each SKU. We will say that the CBD Infusions products have very clean and natural ingredients, something we don’t come by everyday in this space.

Noontide Herbal Elixirs Review

We’d like to think that CBD companies wouldn’t be deliberately offensive, but the photo on the Noontide Herbal Elixirs homepage of a giant styrofoam soda cup next to one of their CBD products (see below) leaves us feeling very uncomfortable. We’re uncertain whether they are consciously trying to deliver a particular message, or simply have what some may consider poor taste. Regardless, the lack of safety information and lack of product/company transparency stood out even more to us.
