CBD Care Garden 60-Second Summary
As the company’s name may suggest, CBD Care Garden takes care to source as many of its ingredients from Mother Nature as possible. As a skincare company in the cannabidiol game, that’s an especially bold mission, but CBD Care Garden mostly follows up on it, with just a few un-natural—but non-toxic!—items popping up in their mixtures. What really hurts the company’s number of badges is the apparent information gap on the one ingredient that makes their brand stand out most: CBD oil.
CBD Care Garden Brand Review
CBD Care Garden was cultivated by two young entrepreneurs, Vanessa and Chris, who believed that the world deserves a brand of CBD oil-infused skincare products worthy of Mother Nature herself. And so the two grew a company utilizing only ingredients one could grow from the earth—including, most importantly, industrial hemp.
The result was a wide breadth of cannabidiol balms, lotions, moisturizers, cleansers, body butters, body washes, deodorants, and soaps. (Whew!) Items are categorized broadly by “Face” or “Body” cleansers, and prices vary overall from $26.50 to $105.
Even more impressive than the range of the product line is the fact that, indeed, virtually no unnatural ingredients are used to produce them. What very few non-organic items we see are common and nontoxic. (CBD Care Garden also says its CBD isolate items are cruelty-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO to boot!)
We truly applaud this not-small effort, as “all-natural” is a very commonly heard refrain but a difficult promise to actually fulfill in the skincare industry—let alone in the unregulated world of CBD oil.
But for as much as we love CBD Care Garden’s dedication to green ingredients, we wish the company would show us a bit more proof that their cannabidiol is equally as organic and safe as the rest of the mix. There’s hardly any reference on the site to where the company sources its industrial hemp or how the CBD oil is extracted, and there are no third-party lab tests to check the general safety of CBD Care Garden’s extensive skincare brand nor the company’s claims of using only CBD isolate.
Bottom line: With the amount of care and thoughtfulness that goes into CBD Care Garden’s all-natural ingredients lists, we want to believe the company is equally as fastidious with its CBD oil quality. But unfortunately, we can’t award badges based on assumptions. There’s no hard information on the company’s site about the source of its industrial hemp or its preferred cannabidiol extraction methods. Ditto for third-party lab test results, leaving out a few badges that would possibly speak more to the character of an honest-seeming company
