Happy Buddha: 60-Second Summary
Happy Buddha cultivates their hemp in North Fork Valley, Colorado, the region with the highest concentration of organic farms in the state. While it is unfortunate that there is no discussion of laboratory testing (which means no Certificates of Analysis), their extraction method could perhaps be one of the most forward-thinking process in the industry. It is easy to feel the love and passion that the founders of HappyBuddhaHemp.com put into their products, and as such we feel comfortable recommending them as a promising cannabinoid vendor.
Happy Buddha Brand Review
The founders of Happy Buddha met while living on a naked hippie commune designed to orient individuals to grown their own food and live a sustainable lifestyle. This leads us to believe that Happy Buddha has their hearts in the right place – if not their commitment to organic, sustainable agriculture. They grow their hemp in North Fork Valley, Colorado – a region with the highest concentration of organic farms in the state (and 40 miles from the nearest traffic light!). Their water source is snowmelt from the nearby Rockies, and the air is pure, as the altitude in the town of Paonia is over one mile high.
Happy Buddha’s products range in price from $7 to $110, and include massage oils, tinctures, salves, beauty products, and adaptogenic hemp tea blends. To our dismay, no Certificates of Analysis (or discussion about laboratory testing) appear anyway on their site (www.happybuddhahemp.com). However, their revolutionary extraction method nearly compensates for this slip-up. Happy Buddha first uses ethanol to extract the terpenes, cannabinoids, and other compounds from the hemp, then takes this potent, full-spectrum CBD oil and combines it with the natural minerals and salts from the plant. They believe this allows the greatest potency and synergy to shine through in the final product.
Despite the lack of testing data, which would supply evidence that their (hopefully euphemistically-named) “alchemical” extraction process does what it claims, we find Happy Buddha to be a promising, refreshingly well-intentioned vendor in the emerging cannabinoid industry.

Hey guys, love your site. It’s been a while since you saw our products and we now have live third party lab tests for all of our products per batch and give a special discount to low income, veterans or people with disabilities. Also you are not using our correct logo, you are using a different company in Florida that is not us. We are the naked hippies in Colorado 😉
Hi DJ! Thanks for letting us know. Please allow for a few weeks and we’ll get a revised review published.
Any suggestions to help with the bad taste?
couple drops of spearmint essential oil or peppermint is best if you do not like that natural, right off the plant taste.
Hi! When a tincture is very strong or bsd tasting, I am careful to place it under the tongue, which is where it should go anyway for best absorption. Then, have at the ready a strong tasting drink (soda, juice, etc) and wash it down. Don’t swish around your mouth to avoid it hitting your tongue as much as possible. Hope this helps! It does not bother me as much over time.
