( vote)House of Oilworx: 60-Second Summary
House of Oilworx is the quirky, small-town CBD brand out of Minnesota that does well with our methodology. They have sound sourcing, processing, and they’re known to be innovative and charitable, too. House of Oilworx sells a few of their own CBD products in their online store as well as other options from third-party vendors. The brand was born out of hardship, and we find their backstory genuine and inspirational. We think House of Oilworx will resonate with a lot of people.
House of Oilworx Brand Review
Jamie and Jude Croyle uprooted their lives to take care of their ill family members. With three young children and constant stress, they were left irritable and depressed after dealing with crisis after crisis. During that time, they discovered the natural benefits of CBD. With family as their foundation, they’re out to help families just like themselves with holistic wellness alternatives.
House of Oilworx uses broad-spectrum CBD in their formulations with 0% THC. A couple of third-party tests we were able to view verifies the presence of multiple cannabinoids including CBDV and CBDA without any delta-9 THC. Ipso facto, their claims check out. Always a good thing.
House of Oilworx gets the Quality Badge for organically grown Colorado hemp and supercritical CO2 extraction. And we uncovered a lot of stuff for this Minnesota company in the charity department, helping nonprofits like Hope 4 Youth to combat homelessness. It’s always refreshing and inspiring to see small businesses give back.
The House of Oilworx CBD catalog is relatively limited, with just five options:
- CBD tinctures
- Nano CBD softgels with curcumin
- CBD Active Wrap
- CBD balm
- CBD bath bombs
House of Oilworx gets the Innovation Badge for their use of nanotechnology in their water-soluble CBD softgels, but FYI these contain polysorbate emulsifiers. Not a huge deal, but a synthetic nonetheless. The Active Wrap also looks like it has some synthetic ingredients, but by and large, House of Oilworx has a pretty clean line on their hands.
At this point, the only thing stopping House of Oilworx from a perfect rating from us is updating their testing protocols and how often they post test results. We weren’t able to find potency tests for every SKU, and one was dated by over a year. We’d also like to see contaminants results for their broad-spectrum CBD oil that include heavy metals.
Bottom Line – House of Oilworx provides a clean line of innovative CBD products made from Colorado hemp and gives back to their community.
