Pure Spectrum CBD claims to submit their products to 3rd party testing for things like metals, molds, bacteria, etc. This is exactly the way the hemp industry should be going! While their website, though aesthetically appealing, still appears to be in a “pre-production” status I am unable to locate any pricing or 3rd party testing information. I do hope they make these batch tests available on their website for east reference just as Endoca does. The vape pens appear to be high quality and do have added functionality that most brands do not offer. They have 3 different temperature settings and even a pre-heat setting. I have not had any leak issues and am quite pleased with the equipment thus far.
Ready to Buy Pure Spectrum?
-The vape products are quite noticeable from an effect perspective. I do very much like the products as well as the delivery platform (vape equipment) they chose to include with the oil. If they would remove all ingredients other than the CBD oil itself and possibly reintroduced terpenes, this would be a top shelf product. This product is very effective, and the promises of 3rd party testing are VERY enticing! Pure Spectrum: please provide a CBD vape oil for us “purists” and make sure to include all ingredients on your labels for each product.
-The orally administered oil has very little taste (which I like quite a lot). This makes taking it and holding it in one’s mouth easy. Also, there isn’t a concern with flavoring agents that could cause harm.
-The vape products I have are BG (bubblegum) and SD (sour diesel). I personally am not a fan of flavorings in my oils. I am a purist and do not want any additional additives in my hemp oil with the exception of hemp derived terpenes being reintroduced due to loss in the extraction process. Other than that I do not want these random substances in my body. The flavors are not bad from a taste perspective; but what they consist of is not on the label. The flavors are subtle; which is best if one is to have a flavoring in my opinion. I am not comfortable consuming some unknown (or known for that matter) chemical in any form that goes directly into my lungs.
Ease of use
-Both products are quite easy to use and very convenient. Traveling with the vape pens is as easy as one might assume; and the oral oil bottles are dark blue glass. This will likely filter out damaging sun rays and the glass seems thick enough to withstand travel without being easily damaged.
-The hemp oil is to be taken orally; while the vape oil is to be inhaled.
-Several pulls (5-7) from the vaporizer; 1-2 droppers full of the orally administered oil
Value/Cost per milligram
-Pure Spectrum's products are priced well at an average of $0.15/MG.
-With very little to go on I am hesitant to make any trustworthiness claims. The 3rd party testing of these products is not yet available and the ingredients in the products for flavoring and so on are not available either. Using the vape products leaves a very noticeable film on your tongue and inside of your mouth. Therefore, this film is definitely going to be deposited on to the tissue inside your lungs. This is not something that makes me comfortable. Also, not having all of the ingredients listed is another concern for me.
Would you buy it again? Why/why not?
These products were effective and Pure Spectrum’s stance on 3rd party testing is an absolute must! I commend them on taking this approach. If they made a pure CBD & terpene vape product they would have one of the best CBD vape products available. As it stands currently Thrive’s Vape Bright is in the king spot. If Pure Spectrum could match (or beat) their price point with a product that undergoes 3rd party testing for metals, molds, bacteria, and so on that purely consists of CBD oil and cannabis derived terpenes only they would likely have the top spot hands down. Also, have “refill kits” at a lower price point that are simply oil that can be use to refill cartridges is another absolute must. The only reason my daily CBD oil is not a portable vape product is due to the over double the price per milligram I must pay for that convenience. Once I have purchased the equipment I would be quite happy to buy refill kits and make either Thrive, Pure Spectrum, or whoever is able to meet the demands of what we as CBD oil consumers want my main daily source for this supplement. C’mon guys, you can do! This is a message to all CBD vendors out there. If you want to corner the market you need only to follow the prescription detailed in this review.
