Pure Spectrum: 60-Second Summary
Colorado-based Pure Spectrum is elevating industry standards for truly organic ‘seed to sale’ CBD hemp products. Their commitment to the ideals of “self-healing, happiness, and longevity” are reflected in both their products and in their multiple charitable endeavors. While the company posts meticulously up-to-date cannabinoid profiling (purity/potency) results for their CBD oil, we do not see evidence of contaminants testing that would give the green light for safety according to our standards. Pure Spectrum comes across as an honest, genuine CBD company, and we think they are. They just need a nudge in the right direction.

Pure Spectrum Brand Review
Meet a family-run brand with a team of go-getters passionate about one thing: CBD oil and its remarkable benefits. Everyone on board appears to have a deep-seated interest in spreading the good news about CBD hemp to the world, along with related skills in technology and the like. Pure Spectrum employs solvent-free CO2 extraction and offers both full spectrum and isolate options in their focused product line.
Pure Spectrum’s front page features badges that convey the quality of their brand and products and a vision statement that brings everything back to creating optimum wellness through offerings that support the endocannabinoid system. We’re thrilled that they offer CoAs by product and batch, but proof of broader contaminant testing (that includes heavy metals, microbial life, pesticides, and other common hemp contaminants) is critical for today’s consumers.
Items range in price from $40 to $120 (higher if you include multi-packs) and include vape cartridges, tinctures blended with both CBD isolate and full spectrum CBD, CBD isolate shatter, and a pet line. We’re especially impressed by the vape cartridges. For one, they’re made from tempered glass, a big environmental plus over conventional plastic cartridges. And secondly, they maintain a natural standard of ingredients we rarely see in the vape sector: whole plant extract honey oil, full spectrum CBD, flavor from terpenes, and organic MCT oil. All-natural CBD vape products with no PG/VG? Get excited.
Pure Spectrum’s topical line finishes out the group with a CBD salve made from calming essential oils and arnica, an after-workout remedy, and a full spectrum lotion with CBD for aches and pains. We approve of their ingredients lists with the exception of polysorbate-60, a chemical emulsifier, in the full spectrum lotion.
We appreciate CBD vendors that have the backing of health-minded individuals who demonstrate a fundamental interest in plant medicine and all the wonder that hemp has to offer. We will also say their broad research library is a big step in the right direction.
Bottom Line – Pure Spectrum needs to improve their impressively punctual test result offerings by including results for contaminants. They seem to genuinely want to better the world with their phytocannabinoid products, and we applaud the high standards they have set with their CBD vape line.
