Pure Spectrum: 60-Second Summary
Colorado-based Pure Spectrum is elevating industry standards not only for true organic ‘seed to sale’ CBD hemp products, but also for transparent laboratory testing. Pure Spectrum is a family-run company, and their commitment to the ideals of “self-healing, happiness, and longevity” are reflected in both their products and in their charitable endeavors (they donate 1% of sales to charitable organizations that support clinical research into cannabinoid medicine). Overall, Pure Spectrum is easily one of the most outstanding CBD brands on the market today.
Pure Spectrum Brand Review
Pure Spectrum doesn’t necessarily do a great job communicating their character through their online site, but Pure Spectrum is obviously a family company – and their hearts appear to be in the right place in everything they do, from providing up-to-date test results (organized by lot number) on their proprietary organic, non-GMO hemp oil, to offering pure and organic ingredients wherever possible.
Their front page features badges that convey the quality of their brand and products, and a vision statement that brings everything back to creating optimum wellness through products that support the endocannabinoid system. Perhaps most importantly, their products are third-party tested for common contaminants like residual solvents; yet, all but two of their Certificates of Analysis (for their CBG and CBD isolates, the latter of which does find its way into many of their products) show only cannabinoid content. We’re thrilled that they offer CoAs by product and batch, but proof of broader contaminant testing (that includes heavy metals, microbial life, pesticides, and other common hemp contaminants) is critical for today’s consumers.
Items range in price from $40 to $120 (higher if you include multi-packs), and include vape cartridges (made from tempered glass – a big plus over conventional plastic cartridges), full-spectrum and “pure” isolate CBD tinctures suspended in medium-chain triglyceride oil, and a cannabinoid-infused healing lotion blended with aloe vera, cocoa butter, olive oil, vitamin E, and essential oils. Pure Spectrum also boasts that their shipping and fulfillment is the best in the industry, so if time is of the essence, order to discover the truth behind this particular claim.
We appreciate CBD vendors that have the backing of health-minded individuals who demonstrate a fundamental interest in plant medicine – and all the wonder that hemp has to offer. We will also say their broad research library is a big step in the right direction.
All in all, Pure Spectrum could improve their admittedly impressive test result offerings, but they seem to genuinely want to better the world with their phytocannabinoid products. If the multitudes of five-star reviews are any indication, they’re doing just that.
